Launch the GigTide application from www.gigtide.com using the “Launch GigTide” button.

Choose a resume template from the template library.
Click on a template to select it, or click on “view in browser” to see what the template will look like in a new browser window.

In the main tabbed section, enter a name for your resume and your basic contact information.
Your resume name will become part of your custom URL, and the contact information you enter is how potential employers will get a hold of you.

Within the tabbed sections, use the text editor to enter the different elements of your resume.
Each section includes specific writing tips that guide you by example.
NOTE: If you are copying and pasting from word, you may need to slightly adjust the bullets or other elements that copy over.

Preview your resume.
Click on the “preview resume” button to ensure that your resume looks the way you want it by previewing it in a separate browser window.

Save your resume.
Be sure to save your resume early and often. Click on the “save resume” button to save your data and create your own GigTide account. This way you won’t have to worry about losing any work you have put into it.

Experiment!
Once you have your information inside the GigTide Resume Builder, you can change any text, reorder the layout, change the header names and even change the template you’re using.
